Emma's 19th birthday card

The pattern for this card was designed by Amanda Coleman and her free tutorial is on her blog http://www.popperandmimi.com.  I made it for my daughter's 19th birthday.  It is a lot of fun to make and she really enjoyed receiving it!  It has been a long time since I shared on my blog.  Hope you enjoy it!

Master Crafter Entry

Here is my entry for the Master Crafter Challenge.  My daughter's boyfriend is a musician and his 18th birthday is coming up, so I enlarged the guitar on the Rock Star paper and made a template.  Then I covered it with the Rock Star paper.  I used wooden picks and glued the green jewels on the end for the tuners of the strings.  I used Zehetner Smith design angel curls for the strings and used the green jewels to glue those at the top.  I cut small strips of glitter paper to glue the strings down the neck and also used the glitter paper behind the sentiment and for the 18.  For the small pouch, I stamped the kisses using versafine black ink.  I then stamped a small red heart in the middle of each kiss and used metallic rub on paint to define the edges.  I hope you like my project and vote for me!  Thanks for looking!

Paper Issues Tag You're it!

Here is a tag I made for the Paper Issues challenge.  I used cream card stock, embossed with the cuttlebug pumpkins embossing folder.  Then I rubbed metallic rub on over the embossed parts using copper and green.  I cut out 2 sizes of Spellbinders scalloped squares and stamped with Stampin Up! pumpkins and Thanks sentiment with Adirondack Earthtones in Terra Cotta. I colored the leaves on the pumpkin stamp with Stampin' Up! watercolor pencils.   The sentiment and stamp are popped up using Recollections pop up dots.  I finished it off with Darice green and orange ribbon.  Hope you like it.

MFT guest designer contest entry

I made this card for the MFT guest designer contest.  I used MFT sweetest pumpkin in the patch stamps, DCWV fall stack paper, card stock, paper piecing and Mcgill oak leaf punch.  I love challenges and using sketches makes it more fun!  Enjoy!

April MFT Guest Designer Contest

This is my entry for the April MFT Guest Designer contest.  I made a bunny basket using the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge.  I embossed the bunny faces with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I used white and pink cardstock.  The ribbon with the Easter eggs is from Creative Desing LTD.  The flowers are punched using the Picture Perfect Daisy punch and glitter design paper and lavender cardstock, finished off with a large jewel brad.  The sentiment Have a Sweet Day is from the MFT set Birthday Girl and the Count Your Blessings sentiment is from the Sweetest Pumpkin in the Patch set.  I used purple heart brads for the eyes and adhered things with a glue writing pen, therm-o-web double sided adhesive, and hot glue.

I had a lot of fun making this for the challenge and if I am chosen as guest designer, I will make many wonderful things using MFT products.  I love the creativity of their stamps and would make quality cards and projects with them.

Thanks for visiting!
