The pattern for this card was designed by Amanda Coleman and her free tutorial is on her blog http://www.popperandmimi.com. I made it for my daughter's 19th birthday. It is a lot of fun to make and she really enjoyed receiving it! It has been a long time since I shared on my blog. Hope you enjoy it!
Here is my entry for the Master Crafter Challenge. My daughter's boyfriend is a musician and his 18th birthday is coming up, so I enlarged the guitar on the Rock Star paper and made a template. Then I covered it with the Rock Star paper. I used wooden picks and glued the green jewels on the end for the tuners of the strings. I used Zehetner Smith design angel curls for the strings and used the green jewels to glue those at the top. I cut small strips of glitter paper to glue the strings down the neck and also used the glitter paper behind the sentiment and for the 18. For the small pouch, I stamped the kisses using versafine black ink. I then stamped a small red heart in the middle of each kiss and used metallic rub on paint to define the edges. I hope you like my project and vote for me! Thanks for looking!
I used cream card stock, embossed with the cuttlebug pumpkins embossing folder. Then I rubbed metallic rub on over the embossed parts using copper and green. I cut out 2 sizes of Spellbinders scalloped squares and stamped with Stampin Up! pumpkins and Thanks sentiment with Adirondack Earthtones in Terra Cotta. I colored the leaves on the pumpkin stamp with Stampin' Up! watercolor pencils. The sentiment and stamp are popped up using Recollections pop up dots. I finished it off with Darice green and orange ribbon. Hope you like it.
I made a bunny basket using the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge. I embossed the bunny faces with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. I used white and pink cardstock. The ribbon with the Easter eggs is from Creative Desing LTD. The flowers are punched using the Picture Perfect Daisy punch and glitter design paper and lavender cardstock, finished off with a large jewel brad. The sentiment Have a Sweet Day is from the MFT set Birthday Girl and the Count Your Blessings sentiment is from the Sweetest Pumpkin in the Patch set. I used purple heart brads for the eyes and adhered things with a glue writing pen, therm-o-web double sided adhesive, and hot glue.

I had a lot of fun making this for the challenge and if I am chosen as guest designer, I will make many wonderful things using MFT products. I love the creativity of their stamps and would make quality cards and projects with them.

Supplies used:

Viva Las Vegastamps Marilyn Monroe Quote
Stamps of Excellence Inc face stamp
Rubber Stamps of America blank oblong
Hero Arts Scalloped Shadow stamp
DCWV The Four Season Stack patterned paper
Ivory and purple card stock
Stampendous embossing powder Lilac Pastel
Versamark Dazzle Champagne Ink
Stazon black ink
Spellbinders scalloped square die
Recollections pop up dots
Therm-o-web permanent tape runner XL

I stamped the Hero arts scalloped square stamp using versamark ink. Then I embossed it with the Lilac Pastel embossing powder. The face stamp was then stamped on the embossed square using black Stazon ink. I cut it out and bent it slightly. I cut the Spellbinders scalloped square from purple card stock and adhered the face to it using the Recollections pop dots. I adhered the patterned paper to the ivory card stock using the therm-o-web tape runner then added the face square to it using the tape runner.. I stamped the blank oblong using the versamark ink again, then embossed it with the Lilac Pastel embossing powder. Then the quote was stamped on that using black Stazon ink. I then hand cut it and adhered it to the patterned paper using more pop dots.
I used dark blue cardstock, then added a piece of black tulle with shiny polka dots that my daughter got with her Valentine roses. The blue heart was punched using Marvy Uchida's large scalloped heart punch. The paper it was punched from is a paper-kit-of-the-month club paper from Annie's Attic. I used Unity's itty bitty twinkle twinkle little star and stamped it on light blue cardstock. I then cut around the stars and adhered them to the heart with pop dots. I also cut around the sentiment and adhered it with pop dots. The lace is a garage sale find. I used Spellbinders border die cut from pearlized paper, a 3d rose from www.tbzkaart.com that I purchased at a scrapbooking show a couple of years ago. The stamp is from the wedding ensemble from Just Rite. I used Spellbinders large scalloped circles for all the circles. The ribbon is a garage sale find and I edged it with peel off stickers from Flower Soft. Hope you like it!
They are awesome and here is my first card from that purchase:
I used blue cardstock for the card base, making memories travel collection patterned papers, blue rick rack and flowered lace, and copper colored cardstock . I also used Spellbinders large ovals and large scalloped ovals to cut the image out. I stamped the balloon with versamark ink and embossed it with Stampendous Stampin Stuff detail black embossing powder. I really love how it turned out! Hope you like it!
Boy have I been busy!

Hello and welcome! I'm so excited to have been invited as a guest designer for Decorate To Celebrate today! Decorate To Celebrate is a challenge blog dedicated to showcasing party decorations for all of your celebrations. Each challenge runs for two weeks, so you have plenty of time to join in on the fun! To see all of the designer's creations and to enter your own project, please click here: http://decoratetocelebrate.blogspot.com

The theme for this challenge is Birthday (for an adult). What could be more adult than champagne? For my project I made a party invitation:

This first view shows the champagne bottle in a crock.

The next view shows the bottle out of the crock.

Then I removed the ribbon so the invitation can be opened.

Now the invitation is opened and the recipient is invited to pull the string hanging from the bottom of the bottle.

The champagne bottle has popped its cork!

I had a lot of fun making this invitation. The champagne bottle is a Mirkwood Designs template. I used double tack to add the gold accents to the bottle. I used Spellbinders square templates to cut out the labels and the Celebrate stamp is a Just Rite stamp. The invite information stamp is a Stampcraft stamp called party invite.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see my project. I hope you'll hop over to Decorate To Celebrate http://decoratetocelebrate.blogspot.com to enter your party decoration for your next birthday party celebrating a favorite grown-up in your life!

I would love it if you would become a follower, too! Thanks for taking the time to visit!
It was to make a Father's day themed party something and this is what I came up with. It is a place card for Dad. I cut out a shirt shaped cardstock, cut a piece of decorative ribbon for the tie and made the #1 Dad sign out of a small circle. The star behind the sign is a sticker. Hope you like it!
Two of them feature Lace template cutouts on the front. They were all hand done..no geo dies here! The alphabet punches on all three are CreativeWorks alphabet punches. The baseball themed card I cut out a shirt shape and made lines on it to look like an old timey baseball shirt. The baseballs are circles punched out and lined to look like baseballs. Thanks for looking!
