another 60th birthday

well, my brother-in-law is turning 60 on May 2nd, so I made this card for him.  He like eagles and the 0 in 60 is a baby picture.  Both of these are magnets so he can remove them and keep them.  I used Spellbinders large oval dies to cut the shapes and the magnets are shaker magnets for a little fun!

Mother's Day Card

This is a card I made for the Mother's Day Color Challenge on CARDZTV.  The challenge was to use the colors blue, green, purple, and white.  I used my corner punch to punch around the circle and stamped the sentiment on white cardstock with purple ink and embossed it with sparkle Hero Arts embossing powder. I used pop up dots to adhere the punched circle to the sentiment.   I happened to have a patterned glittered paper in the colors purple, green, and white so I used that and adhered it to white cardstock.  So here is my card for the challenge!

Easter card

Here is the card I made for this Easter.  I scanned it on purple paper so the edges would show up so the purple is not part of the card.  I cut the base card using the large oval by Spellbinders cutting it a little off the card stock so it would be a card.  Hope that's clear.  Anyway, then I cut the printed paper using Nellie's frames.  The chick is also a spellbinders die and I think it is one of the first I got.  I made a little glitter grass for the chick to stand on.

Well I am finally getting around to posting some more of my work.  I have been doing a lot of blog hops lately and now I can post to my blog again.  I made this card for my daughter's 15th birthday.  She loves soccer and I got these really cute soccer stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps.  I used the Cuttlebug birthday embossing folder and the frame-its kit set #1 circle frame-it to create a space for the stamp.  Then I colored the stamp with metallic paints in my daughter's school colors.  I made a frame for the stamped image using an EKSuccess corner punch and made cuttlebug embossing borders for the sides.  On the inside I used a large star picture punch and put soccer paper behind it.  The soccer ball pops up with an accordian folded paper.  Hope you like it!
