card for the Disney/Pixar blog hop link up party
I have been making this card for my nieces for their birthdays. I got the Tinker Bell stamp at a garage sale. It says Somebody Special. I colored her with metallic paints, embossed the top and bottom with a cuttlebug embossing folder, added the ribbon and bows. The inside of the card has an element which twirls, but unfortunately I don't have an example of this as I have already sent the card! It also says "is having a birthday today" on the inside along with the twirly element. It is a fun card to send to any little girl (or big girl!) Thanks for looking!

Project for Decorate to Celebrate
I didn't realize how long it's been since I last posted! Boy have I been busy!
Hello and welcome! I'm so excited to have been invited as a guest designer for Decorate To Celebrate today! Decorate To Celebrate is a challenge blog dedicated to showcasing party decorations for all of your celebrations. Each challenge runs for two weeks, so you have plenty of time to join in on the fun! To see all of the designer's creations and to enter your own project, please click here: http://decoratetocelebrate.blogspot.com
The theme for this challenge is Birthday (for an adult). What could be more adult than champagne? For my project I made a party invitation:
This first view shows the champagne bottle in a crock.
Now the invitation is opened and the recipient is invited to pull the string hanging from the bottom of the bottle.
The champagne bottle has popped its cork!
I had a lot of fun making this invitation. The champagne bottle is a Mirkwood Designs template. I used double tack to add the gold accents to the bottle. I used Spellbinders square templates to cut out the labels and the Celebrate stamp is a Just Rite stamp. The invite information stamp is a Stampcraft stamp called party invite.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see my project. I hope you'll hop over to Decorate To Celebrate http://decoratetocelebrate.blogspot.com to enter your party decoration for your next birthday party celebrating a favorite grown-up in your life!
I would love it if you would become a follower, too! Thanks for taking the time to visit!

Decorate to Celebrate challenge project
I made this little project for the Decorate to Celebrate challenge. It was to make a Father's day themed party something and this is what I came up with. It is a place card for Dad. I cut out a shirt shaped cardstock, cut a piece of decorative ribbon for the tie and made the #1 Dad sign out of a small circle. The star behind the sign is a sticker. Hope you like it!

Father's Day
Here are some of the cards I created for Father's Day. Two of them feature Lace template cutouts on the front. They were all hand done..no geo dies here! The alphabet punches on all three are CreativeWorks alphabet punches. The baseball themed card I cut out a shirt shape and made lines on it to look like an old timey baseball shirt. The baseballs are circles punched out and lined to look like baseballs. Thanks for looking!
