Paper Issues Tag You're it!
Here is a tag I made for the Paper Issues challenge. I used cream card stock, embossed with the cuttlebug pumpkins embossing folder. Then I rubbed metallic rub on over the embossed parts using copper and green. I cut out 2 sizes of Spellbinders scalloped squares and stamped with Stampin Up! pumpkins and Thanks sentiment with Adirondack Earthtones in Terra Cotta. I colored the leaves on the pumpkin stamp with Stampin' Up! watercolor pencils. The sentiment and stamp are popped up using Recollections pop up dots. I finished it off with Darice green and orange ribbon. Hope you like it.

April MFT Guest Designer Contest
This is my entry for the April MFT Guest Designer contest. I made a bunny basket using the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge. I embossed the bunny faces with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. I used white and pink cardstock. The ribbon with the Easter eggs is from Creative Desing LTD. The flowers are punched using the Picture Perfect Daisy punch and glitter design paper and lavender cardstock, finished off with a large jewel brad. The sentiment Have a Sweet Day is from the MFT set Birthday Girl and the Count Your Blessings sentiment is from the Sweetest Pumpkin in the Patch set. I used purple heart brads for the eyes and adhered things with a glue writing pen, therm-o-web double sided adhesive, and hot glue.
I had a lot of fun making this for the challenge and if I am chosen as guest designer, I will make many wonderful things using MFT products. I love the creativity of their stamps and would make quality cards and projects with them.
Thanks for visiting!

card for Unity February 2012 Challenge
This blog challenge was to make a card with an alternate color heart(rather than pink or red) and to use Unity Stamps. I used dark blue cardstock, then added a piece of black tulle with shiny polka dots that my daughter got with her Valentine roses. The blue heart was punched using Marvy Uchida's large scalloped heart punch. The paper it was punched from is a paper-kit-of-the-month club paper from Annie's Attic. I used Unity's itty bitty twinkle twinkle little star and stamped it on light blue cardstock. I then cut around the stars and adhered them to the heart with pop dots. I also cut around the sentiment and adhered it with pop dots. The lace is a garage sale find. Thanks for looking!

birthday bling challenge from Celebrate the Occasion
For this card, I stamped Stamps Happen inc Rectangular Lace
frame on gloss paper using versamark ink. I then brayered over it with Marvy"s DeeGruenig signature series blending blox ink in Shades of sunrise then wiped it with a paper towel. I cut out the Stampin Up! Birthday Wishes sentiment with Spellbinders large scalloped circle and embossed it. I put the flowers beneath the scalloped circle(they are from Darice). The butterflies are punched using a punch that I am not sure who made. The bling I added around the edges of the inner part of the stamp. Thanks for looking!

wedding card
I made this wedding card for my nephew and his bride. I used Spellbinders border die cut from pearlized paper, a 3d rose from www.tbzkaart.com that I purchased at a scrapbooking show a couple of years ago. The stamp is from the wedding ensemble from Just Rite. I used Spellbinders large scalloped circles for all the circles. The ribbon is a garage sale find and I edged it with peel off stickers from Flower Soft. Hope you like it!

Gotcha Day 2012
We adopted our daughter from China 15 years ago. The day we first held her in our arms is called her Gotcha Day and we celebrate it every year on January 20th. I also make a card for her and here is this year's card. I made the collage with Picasa showing pictures from China, coming home, becoming a citizen, and growing up. She is a beautiful young lady now and we love her very much. Thanks for looking!

Unity Stamp Co The Big Prize Challenge
I visited Unity Stamps at the convention in Las Vegas in October and purchased my first itty bitty stamps. They are awesome and here is my first card from that purchase:
This stamp is called Absolutely Priceless {Simple Stories Itty Bitty} and I got it because my husband and I rode in a hot air balloon on our honeymoon so many years ago. I used blue cardstock for the card base, making memories travel collection patterned papers, blue rick rack and flowered lace, and copper colored cardstock . I also used Spellbinders large ovals and large scalloped ovals to cut the image out. I stamped the balloon with versamark ink and embossed it with Stampendous Stampin Stuff detail black embossing powder. I really love how it turned out! Hope you like it!
